Back in the 1960s, I owned firstly an Li150 S2 (which I repainted and had bored out to a 175) Reg No. 3373 CD, followed by a GT200, Reg No. ACD 93B (which was standard spec, with 150 Special type side panels). I restored this and had it sprayed Ford Cortina 1600E metallic Gold, with mid blue on the side panel flashes and down the middle of the horncasting, and then lastly a TV175 S3 Reg No. 802 GPX, which I had sprayed metallic blue.
I understand that this TV175 S3 is still registered and probably roadworthy. Does any member know of its whereabouts? I have just one photo of it, and would love to see a current one.

It's not been taxed since 1979 so it could be scrapped by now, holed up in someone's shed or garage or even re registered under a new reg' No.

It's a very early one, a '62 , without a suffix in the reg'!

I saw mention of it on the DVLA website. It still shows as Blue, first registered September 1962 but as you say not taxed since the end of January 1979.
Strangely, it also said 150cc not 175cc.
Is there any other way of finding out who owns it??

Probably not, other than posting it on Facebook.

The fact that it's on the DVLA database is a positive, not officially scrapped, probably in someones shed somewhere. I've found cars, bikes and scooters that have been tucked away for just as long.
