Chrome Ring & Li 150 engine

Hi all
Question... if a Chrome ringmodel has a non CR head set on it. The CR has been removed but the lugs remain and a NonCR lower headset fitted. Would just changing the bottom of the headset bring it back to spec or does it involve changing the complete headset & maybe even the horn cover.

Also looking for a good late Li150 engine for a rebuild, so many I’ve looked at are rubbish and usually have cracked cases... Anybody? PM me pls.

you could change just the bottom headset if fitting a new chrome ring
the horncast has just 2 x noggings removed (cutouts) in order to fit with the chrome ring bud
