Rear Hubs

Help Please.

I need to get a replacement Rear Hub for my Ser3 as I snapped mine getting the studs out.

Could someone tell me if the Hubs are interchangeable please? e.g do ser2 fit ser3 giving me wider options or do I need to get a ser3 Hub.

Yes they are but quality varies. Of the secondhanded variety, the Serveta S3 are probably the most prized by anybody that runs a powerful motor not wanting to go the Octopus route. Personally, I remain unconvinced of the necessity for them, but each to their own.

you will appreciate that other club members have bought hubs that they would not choose to recommend. It's a pity that the seller/brand of the hubs (that are out of round) is not mentioned as there appears to be a quality issue we could all do well to avoid. The last i heard was that Scootopia hubs were good (being similar to the Serveta S3 mentioned above) whereas the worst was said to be those made by Ramp.
