I have a new 200cc GP Uni casing which I'm going to build up with a decent performance cyl kit.. with the plan of being a reliable tourer
I do have a GP150 Indian Vijai super gearbox 1991 which I 'm just stripping out of a cracked casing.

Are these gearboxes any good? From what I have read they seem OK but would like to know if anyone out there has used one for a build.
I will likely go with the GT 240 kit, clutch undecided yet.

From an initial inspection the gearbox is in decent order so seems a good idea to use?

I've used the VJ Mk2 GP150 box in both my RT motors, Not had an issue and the close 3rd to 4th gap is good. Another bonus is they are cheaper!

The gap between 2nd and 3rd is quite large but this is not such an issue as, say, the huge gap between 3rd and 4th on a Spanish 150 gearbox.

I would give it a try.
