I’ve been adjusting the gears cables by loosing the trunnions and taking up the slack
I did not remove the cables so both are in the correct place
Went to road test it and as soon I attempt to pull away in first engine stalls
Feels like it in a higher gear

Any suggestions please

readjust and put a bit of slack back on and see if problem persists
