S3 LI150 Loom (best one to buy)

Postby Lord-Spanner » Sun Oct 09, 2022 7:40 pm

Hello again boys and girls,

Question for y'all, I need to source a good quality loom (don't want cheap crap) as I'm sadly getting no answers off the guy who was going to put me one together, seems to of gone AWOL, I'm running a full DC system with battery mounted by the rear wheel, a Scootopia DC ignition switch in place of the kill switch, varitronic ignition system, Oiltek fuel tank with sender and the gauge mounted on the leggies behind the horn cast, a MB digital rev counter/head temp gauge, a jockies headlight and BGM led rear light, I'm fully expecting to need to add extra wires here and there for some of the things I'm adding but after a good base to work with so any recommendations?

cheers folks

Anthony Tambs. Scootronics. Sure he would make you one up if one of his standard ones didn't work for you

Yes, I've used the MB 'universal' loom in a very similar set up. It has multiple power take-offs and fuel sender already incorporated. I think you may need to add a wire for rev counter (maybe not though?). But you definitely will.for temperature gauge. Otherwise, it ticks all your boxes.
