New Rear Hub

Postby Specialcase » Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:30 pm

Good Afternoon all
I’ve got an API Rear Hub #19.0.4.5070 and it has a damage fin. I read a lot that the Indian ones were rather inferior quality. If I should replace what should it be? SIL, UNI, FIA ITALIA, SCOOTOPIA. It’s to fit onto my Q210 S3 engine.
Any hints from The gurus? WT Knowlg F&F Storky?
TIA

Always found the Sil ones have been fine. Had no issues with the scootopia ones apart from being a bit tight with sip rims but it was easily sorted with a file.

Any of those brands should be ok.
As gizmo pointed out. just make sure the rims fit well.
Any new hub should also come with a matching compression cone.

I have been using UNI since they came out. I’ll continue to use them. Of the others you mention, I only have experience of the FA Italia. UNI are more substantial and better made, or they were several years back when I last compared the two.
