sip speedo

Accidentally pulled wires out of my sip speedo function button there are two wires one with white stripe does anyone know which way they go back ? ie white stripped one to the left or right

There is nothing wrong with button just need to solder wires back on , suppose i got 50% chance of getting it right.

I wouldn't have thought it made a difference. All it is doing is completing a circuit.
