I am fitting a 150 barrell,head and piston to mt Li,will I need to check the squish clearence?

I would check squish on every new top end i fitted.Your looking between 1.0mm - 1.5mm ideally.

Don't be too surprised if you are not able to get it below 1.5mm squish clearance because even without a head gasket fitted they rarely squish down to that clearance on standard parts.
