Good evening all

I have been connecting a MB ignition switch to my GP.
I have 3 brown wires 1 from ignition switch one from loom and 1 coming up from horn.
Only 2 brown connectors on headlamp block.

Do I need to solder 2 of these together or is there another solution.

Lambretta is 12v AC

Yes. I recommend that you ignore the original headlight connector block, cut off the bullet terminals and fit a Wago connector block for the browns. Here is a link.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/wago-222-series-32a-3-way-lever-connector-50-pack/76776

These are much more reliable than the original junction box.

In fact, I would recommend buying the variety-pack from Screwfix
https://www.screwfix.com/p/wago-basic-installer-connector-set-75-pack/48808

as this gives you lots of options for connecting two wires, three wires or more into a single connector block. It makes it very easy to install additional circuits for extra lights or accessories. Wago connectors are reusable and you can even use them for their original intention; to re-wire the house.

The wire to the horn is an earth and connects to the (usually) white wire from the light switch on the handlebar.

Horn brown is commonly paired up to brown from headlights switch
Looking at your picture, you gotta use purple from the ignition switch with browns, use one of the triple connection options for these browns then solder in a bridge wire for the purple

see this diagram on wiring on http://www.ilambretta.co.uk/wiring.html
use the left hand 3 holes to plug all of your browns into.
