Just try setting silicone alight. Bearing in mind that glass has silicone as one of it’s components & that the electrical sleeving @ the business end of anything designed to get hot - such as hot air guns etc - is silicone, then you might consider differently…..
One product that I have had fail is Blue Hylomar ‘as recommended by Roll Royce’ which is more akin to blue snot.
I’ve used the bathroom silicone sealant on road exhausts & never had a problem.
Anyway, you asked & there you have my recommendation.
