Trying to identify a friends engine but the numbers don't seem to fit the range listed on the database?
The number is 125 Li 637752
Can anyone help?

Which Database are you using as LCGB do not list engine numbers?
Your friends engine is most probably an LI125 Series 2 from May 1961, although it could even be a Series 1 engine. Does it have the strengthening lugs on the side casing around the kickstart?

Obtained Numbers from here:https://www.scooterlounge.com/lambretta/reference-library/index.shtml
It has strengthening ribs on the cover but that may have been changed.
Thanks

That's an American site and it doesn't give engine numbers, only frame numbers. It makes it look like they are the engine numbers but there is only one set and they are frame numbers.
