Anyone know offhand what the diameter should be on original pair of forks stem. I have a set of casa remade forks and getting a headset clamp on is a nightmare even opening it up a fair bit. Tried a mb one and an original and both same.

27.0 -27.2mm would be the normal expected diameter for the top of the stem where the clamp fits.
