I'm having some light issues.I have no side lights, Indian GP, with 3 stops on the ignition switch. The side lights don't come on, second stop on the ignition switch, but do when the headlight is switched on. I've put a multi meter on the connections and they all seem connected, the side and headlight terminals. Also when the lights are off and I apply the brake, both the brake light and rear light come on together.Any help appreciated.

Got a new ignition and bulb holder from Scootopia. Lights all work apart from the side lights. Scootopia website says move the purple to the grey terminals if you have no side lights, but this doesnt work. Where do the side lights get its power from and how can I measure if it getting power with a multi meter? TIA

You can use a wire to bridge a feed for the sidelights from the main brown feed

I tried that Toddy and it illuminated the side light and the main bulb. These seem to be on the same circuit ?

Oh dear , Shouldn’t do if you have a purple or grey in the block for it to go with that’s usually the side light circuit

Well I've given up, will run it without side lights, they've never worked anyway, and now I've got historic vehicle status. The connections on the new bulb holder were different from the original I had.Cant be the rest of the, unknown, loom? I've 2 spare red wires in the headset. The brown is the supply to everything inthe headset?
