Casatronic 4 pole

I have an older casatronic 4 pole electronic ignition.

I had to replace the 3 way earth strap.
One end goes to flywheel cowling one went behind the regulator box where it attaches
to the frame.
One end I found was wrapped around the black wire and pushed into the same receptacle via bullet connector
in the regulator.

Is that correct routing ?
