Hi
I bought a new flat side casa engine bolt for more clearance , My Question is should the cones fit flush with frame
As the old ones I took out do.
Also engine mounts the inner tube pertrudes slightly at the back I can’t remember if this is normal ? As I can’t get the engine over the casa cones ..The cones aren’t sticking too much couple of mm .
Not sure if i need new engine mounts or fettle the cones I have already cleaned up inside frame where cones fit?
Any help appreciated.

You aren’t alone. I had this too and had to get the cones machined down to fit. If you do this, do plenty of measurements first.
By way of balance, I have fitted at least one set that were fine

Recently went thru the same problem, (as per others on here when i asked).
Ended up having to have 2mm machined off them on a surface grinder, at a cost of £40.00 ! more then the bar cost me.
