SIP wheel stud length?

What length of bolt are we using?.
I have a set of SIP alloy wheels which were supplied with stud's, nuts, and Nord washers.

So measuring up I have a hub at 12mm the rim at 16mm, and a Nord washer at 2mm, giving me a total of 30mm. The bolts supplied are 40mm overall so deducting another 2mm for the bolt head this is only leaving me 8mm for the nut.
Is this correct, looking at other bolts they all appear to be 40mm overall and bolts advertised as actual SIP bolts I have seen are saying 39mm overall

I'm waiting for a reply from MB, rang a couple of times now they said they would get back to me, probably busy, there add says 41mm from underside of the bolt head Which I think would be perfect but there Questions & answers says 38mm. Anyone had any from them?.
