Well I've finally managed to finish stripping my Li special down so it can be blasted in preparation for restoration and I discovered to my horror, that Stevie wonder had re welded the rear cross member back onto the frame, I've ordered a new cross member as the original is in two pieces and hasn't been welded back on straight and is also beyond saving. Can anyone give me the measurement from the back edge of the forward cross member to the leading edge of the rear one? Cheers

Google Lambretta frame measurements. There are original engineers drawings on line. That's how I found what I was after. Sorry I'm not clever enough to post a link.
