Does anyone know if a LED rear light unit to fit within standard housing & lens is available for a 6V series 2?

Hi
could you wire this directly to battery and brake pedal with inline fuse save fitting a regulator.

......I ordered one, and as my 6V machine has its original regulator, I didn't buy a BGM regulator...and.....the LEDS blew on the second press of the brake pedal!!!!

So I have now ordered and received a BGM 6v Regulator and a replacement LED unit..the problem is that the BGM instructions don't seem to cover the wiring for my machine (P 262 of Sticky's orange book) - I have emailed MB for more info, but in the meantime has anybody else fitted one to a LI 150 S2 6V AC..??????...and if so do you have a diagram of easy / clear instructions ???????

the LED unit is

the 6 V Rectifier is
http://www.lambrettaspares.com/search/MBGM0263.html

the instructions available seem only to cover the 12V variant...

Thank you...

Those units are supposed to work on AC, is it possible the problem lies elsewhere?

Hi

Phil from MB provided the answer.......so here it is for future reference in case any one else needs it....

Use the AC IN and OUT of the regulator only. The blue and brown are connected to the regulator IN and the brown and purple of the wiring loom are connected to the OUT. Because the regulator is bridged it doesn’t matter which IN and which OUT
