SX Headset repairs

The threads on the headset, top and bottom are knackered. They need complete new lugs welding on and new headlight screw threads tapped in for a new headlight rim from CASA. Question. I am in SE Essex, who knows there way around scooters that could do this local and how much am I looking at. Don't mind delivering to a LCGB member that is capable of this task. OR would it be cheaper to buy a good one, or has a member got a good one for less than ebay prices.
Cheers.

Have the lugs broken off completely? if not, they can be drilled out and the body of an ally pop rivet epoxied in prior to drilling and tapping back to original size. Welding could well cause distortion if not done vary carefully

The method coaster suggests works well, just make sure that you put the ally pop rivet through from the back, from memory its a 4mm pop rivet, no good though if the lugs are actually missing
