Hi all does anyone have a contact who can refurb a ser2 tv 175 ignision switch I am still using it but key falls out and lost the half moon cover any contact please thanks

Mate had one done by Jem, and the key still falls out.
Best ask him specifically before assuming it wont after being rebuilt.

The problem lies in worn out tumblers and these are not always readily available although it can be improved by having a new key cut. Jem can re wire and re chrome a switch but the half moons are like hens teeth, can be hand made with a little patience using a piece of thin brass plate and then having it chromed.
N.o.s switch on e5ay at the moment, problem being these fetch silly money circa £500..
