Hi i am having trouble wiring a ignition switch . I am trying to wire to a li type switch (with side lights on the switch) i am taking it that purple is the feed for yellow and black (side and back light) on position 2 and brown is a feed for orange (main lights) on position 3.

What i would like to do if possible is to still use the original switch as well as the key positions on the lock
I know the switch is designed to work through the sx type switch with no side light switch on the handlebars

Hi.I've just done the same thing on a series 2 Li 125.I did away with the cut out button and fit an ignition switch instead, but I wanted to use original handlebar switch,so I followed the wiring diagram in the back of Sticky's manual but instead of using an SX/GP type handlebar switch I used the original one just for dip, mainbeam and horn.
