Adjusting clutch cable

The clutch cable is a little bit slack so I'm looking for an idiots guide in how to adjust it to take the slackness oit of the cable.Any help would be appreciated.

wind adjuster back into the block as far as it will go.
undo nipple, pull cable as tight as you can and then do nipple back up.
wind adjuster to tighten it further.

job done.

There should be 1/16" movement in the handlebar lever before the lever on the gearbox begins to move.

If still slack get a big C spanner and operate the clutch arm and you may find that you still have half an inch of cable to take up before you feel pressure. If so, make a mental note of where the trunnion should be on the cable and release it from the clutch arm. Now reposition the trunnion and you will find you cannot get it back on the arm until you move it forward with the C spanner or adjustables. Almost there. You could also leave some adjustment on the adjustment screw so that you can go either way.
Should have play at the clutch lever on headset as indicated.
