Series three kickstart

Hi
I am in the process of moving house and my father in law said he would move he scoot to his garage in his van
Which he did bug unbeknown to me thought it would be a good idea go lay it on its side, the kick start side
Now the kick start catches on the rear floor board and the clubman exhaust
My question is, is the kick start bent or has the kick start shaft been damaged??

Most likely it has just bent the pedal.Remove it ,wrap it around his head then straighten in a vice.
