hi all
does anybody know the exact thread size for the lambretta end plate studs,
I know they are M7 studs but does anybody know what the exact thread pitch is i need to clean a couple of stud holes out with a tap but i am not sure on the exact thread pitch.

Hi

The end plate studs are 1 mm pitch (M7 x 1.0) & the original studs were strong (or tough), as they had rolled threads rather than cut threads.

They are exactly the same pitch as 'normal' M6 threads but 1 mm bigger in diameter & correspondingly stronger with their bigger cross section.
