New side panels for my TV3 1964?

My body panels are at Enviro-Strip now which removers everything, inc rust.

I'm not hopeful my original side panels will survive...the rolled edges are very corroded as well as the lower edges.

If I have to buy new steel ones, several are on eb@@y, Buzz etc. £150 pair which sounds good to me, but are some better fit than others or are they all from the same source in Italy.

Thanks, Graham.

I doubt that many remade panels have been anywhere near Italy.....

Those panel's look pristine compared to some I've seen that have been restored and will not present a challenge to any decent bodywork person.

The top return lip is quite eaten but continuous on both sides, the inside surface rust is like 'scabs' rather than all over.
I've welded the one lower edge, tricky with rust and a very thin gauge using MIG, oh for my Oxy acet torch again!

Some of the panels on e..ay state made in Italy.

After almost everything I've bought for this TV is at best 'sort of ok' and normally 'very poor' I don't want to fight a poor fitting new panel after £150.

I've got some pressed steel panels from TSR and they fit better than the original ones did,but like Digger say's those original panels of yours look like they will renovate easily.

I'm hoping they will be useable.
I've pulled various cars from the grave over the many years of tinkering, but the pics don't show how pitted the edges are.
Panels ready for next Monday, see what I have then!

Leg shield and rear floor panels are brilliant save a few dents.
