Rich,
Is it threaded where the front of the lever is?
Hard to tell by that front on pic. It looks to be of the same style switch in the Grimeca.
Is it the same as the one in this pic?
You can see where the light switch screws in to, at the front of the lever.
It will just be a case of sussing which thread you need.

The master cylinder looks like the RD 350 LC - what most of us used in the early hydraulic conversions

It definitely isn't threaded Nelly so Gaz that looks more like it. Do I take it that one is just a push in fit then?

Well Gaz Powell, I bought the switch you recommended and what do you know it fit and was the right one. The next hurdle was wiring it up as I am not exactly a wizard with electrickery and did not have a loom with wires already for it. Ran the wires into the headset top and connected one to the black, which I now know is the lighting, ran a fresh wire down inside the horncasting and connected it to the pink on my 2 pin brake light switch and Bingo, it worked. Probably should have connected it to an ignition live in the headset but as I run with the lights on I don't suppose it matters for now. Cheers Gaz,

Black and it will only work when the lights are on Brown feed from the loom all the time the engine is running. Blacks good enough
