Indian after market ignition switch

Postby HxPaul » Fri May 01, 2015 10:02 am

Does anybody know where I can get an ignition key to fit an Indian after market ignition switch.I have one key but it got bent,I've straightened it but it seems very week and I'm afraid of it snapping.I've been to four key cutters and none have a blank,it seems a very unusual key.I would normally send to Jem Booth for new one but this doesn't seem to have a number on the key or the barrel.

If it's a typical Indian quality item you might be able to use any old small padlock key you happen to have on you. This was how I managed to do the ride out at Llangollen when I mislaid my keys.

Can you post up a pic of your key? I have a selection of ignition key types and may have a match. :D
