13ltr tank

Postby panda » Sat May 02, 2015 9:41 pm

I have just fitted a 13ltr tank to a gp 200 with 28 mm carb and was wondering is it best to leave the tool box out cause there's not much room for any cables etc

toolbox can stay. I agree there's not much room but it's adequate for routing the cables. sometimes a 90 degree elbow out of the carb' can help.

No, not the manifold the outer throttle and choke cable. A 90 degree elbow helps send them in the correct direction as opposed to straight up.

here you can see its a tight fit but no problem . to get an air filter in we had to cut 70mm square out of toolbox corner and mod panel alls good now even has LTH reedvalve its just got a longish throttle cable and fits between A64yorkie :D

Why not just have the filter horizontal pointing toward the rear of the scooter?

because of all crap and dust at lower level . also may interfere with air cooling :)
