Hello
The throttle tube is rusted on my TV headset.
Is there a way to get this off without damaging headset.
Tried heating, just will not move.
Any ideas
Thanks

Have you a Dremel? If you can slit most of the tube and prise it apart, the bit you can't get to with the cutting wheel will probably surrender. If not you certainly will get some penetrating oil into the remains.

I dont have a Dremel (Yet).
I have sprayed loads of wd40, to no avail.
Do have grinder, but chances are I would go straight through, then be in a world of trouble.
Just read something about vinegar, maybe try soaking it in that.
But getting a Dremel does seem the way to go.
Thanks

You can also split it by cutting a spiral slot using a junior hacksaw.
