Many places sell poor quality M7 studs but some sell decent quality strong rolled studs. Unfortunately, virtually everyone (even those that sell decent studs) sell them with standard [fairly soft] standard M7 nuts, whereas the orignals were lower than standard profile and really nice and tough, unlike the common ones that can strip pretty easily.

Sadly, the last place that supplied decent new nut (original spec') then supplied me the standard/common type when I ordered more for my stock shelf :(

As it stands, I don't know who supplies the original spec. Happy hunting, please let us know if you find original spec items?

i bought a supply from a fixings supplier as i seem to get through quite a lot as i use a few on the "other type of scooter" as well a bit deeper than original but still fit and i thought a bit more thread to grip cannot hurt.needless to say they are s..t and dont torque up and strip or lock up and draw the studs out on removal which is a pain for double nutting. the stuff from scooter dealers has never been as original either, apart from one... the ones supplied by Rimini with the cyclone.

^... agreed, however, the ones that I ordered from Rimini were not the same as those supplied with my Cyclone, rather, were just the standard type.
