fit a battery for trying my lights ect

Hi All,
If I was to fit a battery on my GP what colour of wire on the junction box( on the frame) would I connect the positive from the battery to, this is just to try my electrics without starting the engine.

Normally the brown out of the regulator. Disconnect it and I would use a 5 amp fuse between the battery and the Brown so you dont cook anything. Obviously the negative to a good ground on the frame

Hi I do not have a regulator, just wires coming from the stator into the junction box.

Remove the stator wire to the junction box and replace it with your fused supply
