Hi All,

I'm trying to repair a GP horncast and i need to know the correct size of ''taps'' required and the correct size of holes to drill for the ''taps''

Its 1 of the 4 main screws that connects the horncast to the leg shields and the 2 small ones that connect the front mudguard to the horncast.

Thank you for your help

They're all M5x0.8 mm and you usually use a 4.2 mm drill bit

I'm not sure which one but it's either Lidl or Aldi [money's on Lidl] who currently have a drill and tap kit on offer. Correct sized drill for the taps. No 7mm size though.
Ah it is Lidl, but last week but many stores probably still have stock ... http://leaflet.lidl.co.uk/590cdbd5-91a9 ... x.html#/38

Also found this re course and fine threads. http://www.shender4.com/metric_thread_chart.htm
