Hi all....just fitted mugello225 with dellorto 30 mil carb, all seems fine, just done about 15miles.
question is, what is an ideal running in period...?

I'd say around 100 miles I never ran in my Mugello 186. Thrashed from the start, but as my Mugello 225 was going on an complete engine build I gave it all a gentle 100 - 150 miles. I'm sure others will tell you less or more, but that's they way I did it without any problems. I just always kept an eye on jetting.

However long it takes you to do your plug chops starting at the bottom and working up I guess.
I think they recommend 500 miles but most people will say you only need 100 miles to bed the rings in, but you will need some confidence that your carb is set up properly before caning the ass off it
