I know its been mentioned on these forums about a 2 part head cowl modification,has anyone managed to sort something out?

Oh, that sounds interesting.

I guess this allows the cowling to be fitted with the exhaust already fitted. Where would it divide into two?

This is one I did for my sprinter,yes with a bit missing.Could be cut horizontally with mag and cylinder bolt holding bottom section,mag and some sort of fixing holding the top in place.As you can see the cowl distorts when cut,so perhaps some sort of channel,H section could be made up along the cut.Or perhaps interlocking pieces could be spot welded on,and joined like the toolbox ?
