Hi all
I'm a rare contributor to the forum although a regular reader of its posts. I just wish to check with members something that I think I know the answer to but would like confirming. Basically, is there any real differences between a Series 2 150 cylinder/piston and a Series 3 150 cylinder/piston? Are they, in effect, interchangeable? Thanking you in advance

there is a differance, keep the series II assy together, as well as the series III assy, DONT mix & match as pistons , porting etc are way different

Thank you, Hullygully. I suppose what I was seeking was whether a barrel/piston assembly off a Ser 2 could be used straight on to a Ser 3 - which I gather, it could

Yes, interchangeable.
During the series 3 production, the porting was improved to give slightly more power, with the SX and DL 150's having the best holes. Having said that, even the DL 150 won't rip your arms out.
