Hi
pins on my flywheel on series2 have come forward and jammed motor have got flywheel, of can the pins be replaced if they can be removed or does it mean another flywheel

Use M5 tensile bolts ,washers and locknuts to fasten the boss to the flywheel.

I've had that happen a long time ago. It's a fairly common problem with the two piece flywheels. I tried some bodge repairs but gave up. I actually fitted a washing machine fan onto the brass; which was a popular modification in thye 80's.I'd get another flywheel if I were you.

All too common a failure point, one that I recently mentioned on another thread.

I've had 1 fail, which I cured by drilling, tapping and bolting the 2 together... and another which came to me already loose, which I bolted a nylon fan too (as described above).

I'd have to think twice about simply fitting another unmodified flywheel of the same type.

think I might try drilling and tapping then loctite screw in

ray drill and tap and countersink the fan, use m5 countersunk high tensile screws not stainless or unknown, two Allen screw M5 by 12mm should do it but put them 180 degrees opposite to keep the flywheel balance,

I had one go in 1980 - Araldite sorted it.
