fitting a wiring loom

Postby kennystag » Thu Aug 20, 2015 9:02 am

Hi All,
I have decided to fit a new loom on my sil GP. Anybody done this without stripping all the tin ware off again. Any help will be appreciated. I will also be fitting this kit.
Cheers

I managed it once, but had to loosen everything. Loom went in from back to front, had to remove the horncasting tho

Hi Kenny,
Just looked up the spec for flywheel kit it that you are looking at.It appears to me an AC set up (lights are ac) with a dc output for "small accessories and to charge a battery " not to run the lights on dc.I see that Beedspeed also do a electronic kit with full wassell setup.ie lights on dc.
Perhaps others that use the kit you are looking at i.e electronic ign AC lights with dc for small accessories might comment.
