On Saturday after 130 miles or so doing the Derby 150 with no issues I had a bit of a backend wobble in the wet then about 20 mins later riding in a straight line I lost it when breaking as a car turned. No major damage other then dented pride but don't know if it was the conditions, bad riding or if Conti's are poor in the wet. Only other thought is the rear shocker is fairly old but seem's ok. Any thoughts?
Cheers

Was that a Cont Twist Sport? If soI have not had any issues with them personally in the dry or the wet. Tha said, I switched to Dunlop Scootsmart on the rear last year and it has been great. 1600 miles on the euro, 1000 miles round Germany this year and just added another 430 on the Derby 150. Had some pretty heavy rain on all those events ant the Dunlop has always inspired confidence. Still has some legal tread left too

I got some conti twists on my solo and had a similar problems in the wet with them. I am wearing them out on the combo, you don't mind a little wobble with it
