Hi Chaps,
Since fitting a stainless steel expansion exhaust to a standard indian gp150 i noticed the plug colour is slightly lighter. It is similar to the colour of an amazon cardboard box.Plug is NGK B7eS carb is standard jetex .I have a 122 main jet i could fit .If needed how do I make it run richer? Does anyone drill the atomiser to 2.0 mm as suggested by Scooty loopy john? on the old forum.
All ideas appreciated.
Thanks ,
Grandpa

It's difficult to tell from a photo but that doesn't look far off perfect to me

It's difficult to accurately assess because cameras and software give varying results. Almost there. Try the 122 but I wouldn't personally drill the atomiser out.

Agree nice Colour, was that just taken out after General Running or was it during Plug Chops ? as it may be good at one throttle position and Lean/Rich at others always worth checking when you change exhausts .

Hi Bazza, paul and toddy,
Thanks for all your comments.
It was taken after going up a hill on full throttle and switching off.I will check again soon but before expansion exhaust it was more of a chocolate brown rather than the amazon box brown it is now
I also noticed it appears to have less torque at low revs but might be faster in fourth gear possibly because engine is revving a bit more (Indian gp150 with 5.65 final drive)
.....and it wont rust
Thanks all

Lack of torque is the expansion box out of the power band. You can't have it all.

I would do the same run at 1/4 1/2 and 3/4 throttle positions aswell to give you a better idea of how the rest of jets etc are doing there job. (Unless you ride everywhere flat out of course )
