Side Panel difference?

I'm currently on the look out for some original LI special side panels. I've found some Spanish panels but before I spend the money can anyone tell me if they are the same as the Italian ones and will fit? Don't want to waste my money if they are different, cheers.

It depends how pernickety you want to be. The Spanish ones would fit and it would take an expert to tell the difference.

Huuum not sure about 'it would take an expert', it's quite a big square edge to to the Spanish ones ! (About an inch flat lip compared to a 10mm rounded edge on Italian) , personally I'd wait for some good Italian ones- is spot Spanish on an Italian scooter straight away? ...

I think that's what I'm going to do to be honest, I'm sure a pair will come along. Thanks for the advice
