Does anyone know where the trigger point is on this flywheel.I know its in between the 2 magnets with the fingers on,but where I havn't a clue.I have three 12v flywheels and each one has different timing marks. Each time I rebuild an engine I use a strobe on the flywheel and each time I have to remove the flywheel to adjust the stator plate, this is a pain and I'd just like to strobe it and find that its in the right place.

The timing marks are arbitrary. I wouldn't trust the two lines scribed in the windows on anything other than an original or an original Ducati AF flywheel.
The arrow can be stamped anywhere or make your own mark on the flywheel and line that up at TDC then mark the mag flange with your TDC and your timing mark.

There must be a trigger point on all 12v flywheels, its just that I have 3 flywheels and everyone has the timing marks(the 2 lines)in a different place.I just thought that finding this trigger point would make timing a lot easier.

The two lines are almost invariably untrustworthy except as above.
Best to use the arrow and make some marks round the rim of the mag flange for your TDC and firing point

I know there untrustworthy, thats why I'm asking if anyone knows the exact trigger point.

If the people who make them can't get it right, what chance do we have?
