Disc conversion Ser3

I've just fitted a front disc conversion to my SX(Jet) 200 and can't seem to bleed the thing. I've tried operating the lever and releasing the bleed nipple etc but the fluid level doesn't move. Yes I got it from scootRS as I have quite a lot of parts with no problems. Any suggestions please?

This has been on before. The consensus seems to be to use a syringe and inject fluid into the nipple end. I have used a long lean the of fish tank tube on the nipple and standing up suck. You can see the fluid coming up the tube among with air and stop before you get a gob full. Did mine in a few minutes

As above , get a big syringe ( couple of quid from flea bay ) and pump the fluid in from the bleed nipple until it appears in the master cylinder ( make sure you put an old sheet or towel under the headset covering the legshields and front mudguard or any fluid that spits out will bubble your paintwork ) once it appears in the master cylinder close the bleed nipple and top up the master cylinder with fluid then bleed the system as normal i.e pull the lever and keep opening the bleed nipple to let the air out , will take 2 or 3 goes :)

After its bled, put a cable tie around the lever and leave over night, It will get rid of the miniscule air bubbles.

Fitted ScootRS one recently and it bled perfectly. You have to open it a fair way...or take it out till it flows, screw it back and then start to bleed.
Definitely wipe fluid away immediately as it can lift paint.

Use Dot 5 Silicone synthetic fluid its doesn't damage paint
