BGM ac stator output

BGM ac stator output

I notice that the BGM regulator I use with a ac stator has a positive output for charging a battery. Will the output from this stator run DC lighting?

I think it's a trickle charge for a battery, doubt it would run your headlight for long.

A very simple mod to the stator and a Wassel regulator/rectifier will give you full DC for less than £30
