Spraying out a Can

Guys - touching up the stand & splash plate -- any ideas on a hard lacquer to spray on after final coat or just leave it after the final coat?

Clear coat will give a better shine but it won't be any tougher than straight paint unless you use 2k but that's overkill for what you are doing.

I only recently fitted a splash plate after not having one for ummmmmmm since 2005ish? I just sprayed with some black enamel coat or something and bought a sheet of pin up stickers and coated it with that
