Is it recommended to fit cables to headset prior to engine fitting? I'm waiting for engine and want to get leggies on?

Just worried about fixing cables, then leggies and having to remove to adjust cables

No reason not to fit up the front brake and speedo. You can run in the cables and loom with LX tape and maybe wait til the engine's back before securing them and fixing any panels though - especially if your loom isn't spot on. Get it working then panel it up.
I'm learning that it can be a lengthy process and there is no point in rushing anything, just enjoy it!
