Sprint rack

Should the threads on these racks fit straight into the four holes? i have tried fitting the rack to both my restored and unrestored series 2's but the rack doesn't fit. The rack is a stainless steel scoot rs rack.Here's two photo's so you can see what i mean.

How do? Have you tried to knock them about a little with a nylon hammer stainless is quite soft ?

Cheers for the reply Shane. To be honest i thought something as simple as a rack wouldn't need to be banged about to make it fit. I think i'll send it back and hopefully get a exchange.

I'm more surprised these days when something fits straight out of the box then when something doesn't...nylon hammer is certainly your best bet here
