Light switch

Postby stephena » Sun Jan 24, 2016 8:53 pm

Just fitted a new horn /dip switch to my s3. The cable sleeving is rubbing on the throttle rod but cannot see how else it will fit is it correct. This may be the 2nd of many questions as I have started to put back together a late sx150 which I took apart 2yrs ago. Thanks in anticipation of any information. Hello Stephena

I had a similar problem so I fitted my original light switch electrical cable (the original sheath has lost it's, eh, plasticity) by running it under the chrome ring (engine side) of the throttle brass wheel, and lifting it back up at the front end of the chrome ring. It does not rub in any way; Not orthadox but works fine so far. This will make it harder to refit though.
