The man spraying my 125 special has queried the shade of white I've asked for.
According to sticky's book it should be thorn white the same as a GP, he's convinced it should be new white like an SX.
Anybody know for sure?

Thorn White for the late models. Only the internals were in New White

It's a late one and it looks like it was originally white. Managed to persuade him to get thorn white, I prefer the creamier shade anyway.

Vittorio Tessera's Restoration Guide states that all body parts (including internals) on the very last examples should be in White Thorn (Lechler 8082).

Carter Aluminium 8081 is quoted for: "Fork, wheel hubs, front brake shoe backing plate, wheel rims, spare wheel holder, stand and stand mudguard. The plastic glovebox remained grey."
