Who makes / supplies the best quality GP legshields that are closest to original Italian ones?

Probably nobody these days. I think SIL were persuaded to make a batch a few years ago, but that's it. There will come a day when you just can't get them. Your best bet is to get some half decent old ones and repair them.

SR have the SIL ones listed at £150.

But the SIL ones are slightly rounder at the shoulder than the originals.
